A few moments of free time....allowing me to catch up a little on Sizemore happenins'.
We found out near the beginning of December that we will be moving to Tennessee!!! Mike received a promotion and along with it came a transfer. It is truly amazing how the Lord has directed each step and decision we have made the past few months. In the Spring we were hoping to purchase a house but nothing seemed to work out. So for over 6 months we have wondered what to do. All along the Lord was preparing the way for us to be in TN. Can you imagine the hassel of trying to sell a house with the way things are now in the economy?! This is not the first time I have directly seen the Lord's hand in my life but am sure grateful that he is mindful of me and my family. We are so excited to be going there, we have heard nothing but positive things. Mike has already started his new position and the kids and I will be headed there next week so we can find a place to live. Then in two weeks we will pack up the truck and officially move!!

It has been almost 4 years since moving to NC and we have met some amazing people who will remain forever friends. Change is not always easy (especially for me)but starting this new chapter of life will be an adventure of its own.

Good luck with the new job! You'll be missed.
Aimee! I'm going to miss you sooooo much. I've been checking your blog for a few weeks now waiting for the update. I of course heard about the job through Wil. Best wishes to you and Mike. We had choir practice tonight and I was wishing you were there. :0( I finally started a blog too while we were in Hong Kong. burgonbunch.blogspot.com. Check it out when you have a chance. Please, please keep in touch. Love, Vivian
Hello my love.....
I was wondering why you said Mike was in Nashville...CRAZY. I can't wait to hear all about it on Saturday! I have missed you so much and am SO thankful we have kept in touch.
How exciting for you guys! It is good to feel that reassurance that you're doing the right thing and that things can make sense, even if they don't seem like it when they're first happening. It can be good to be in a new place, on your own, with your own little family. I remember someone in our Durham ward telling us that before we started moving around the country. She was right!
Of course, I want to say, "DON'T GO! YOU CAN'T GO!" Michael has been an indescribable blessing in so many stages of Griffin's life - truly heaven-sent just for my son! Just thinking about it chokes me up and brings tears to my eyes. I'm bummed that you and I won't be singing those high notes together any more, either. What in the world will the Pageant do without you??? Who would have thought that both you and Robert would move?!
Where ever you land next, they'll be thrilled and lucky to have you. Thank goodness we know you won't stay away from here forever. I know we'll see you again. :-)
we are so sorry to see you leave! good luck with this new adventure. it is always fun to pack up and start over. glad you still have mikes family up here so you have no excuse not to come back and visit! let me know if i can help with the kids as you're packing.
We just went through this too - but it meant being away from home for the first time. I related so much with what you had said, what a blessing to have guidance and direction in our lives. I hope things are starting to get settled for you. Good luck!
